DFF Foundation | Structure

The Chief of the Defence Force is the Accounting Officer of the foundation and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees consists of, the NDF Chief of Staff Logistics and eight other members who are elected by the Defence Force Foundation Annual General Meeting to serve for a three year term.

a. To manage the foundation

b. To further and safeguard the interest of the foundation and to promote its objectives

c. To institute, conduct or defend any legal proceedings by or against the foundation

d. To formulate policies and strategies for the foundation

e. To appoint auditors on annual basis

Secretariat

Executive Director of the DFF

Executive Director of the DFF is the head of the Secretariat and is appointed by the Board of Trustees for a five (5) year term to serve as an overall administrator of the foundation, responsible for the efficient implementation of the Board of Trustees decisions.

The Secretariat roles are:

a. To maintain daily administration of the foundation.

b. To ensure resolutions of the AGM and the MC are implemented.

c. To process the distribution of Formation /Units members monthly contribution.

d. To prepare DFF quarterly and annual financial statements.

e. To analyse and evaluate financial report of DFF subsidiaries.
